3VC was built to give strong startups in Austria, CEE, and the DACH region the Series A funding and international investor access they need to grow instead of exiting too early, backing only about 3-4 companies a year and pairing them with top co-investors and an operator-heavy team of former startup founders. It stays closely involved through hard times, drawing on a venture-partner bench that includes people like ex-UiPath leaders and ICQ cofounder Yair Goldfinger, and by 2022 its concentrated portfolio included three unicorn-level outcomes and a $150M fund that was the largest Series A-focused fund in Austria at the time.
